Our romantic Garden Retreat is set apart from the main house and enjoys spectacular views over the mere and rolling countryside through the oak-framed sun room. Set over three split levels the space is contemporary with rustic charm, bringing together old, new and up-cycled decor to create an extra special, unique space.

The spacious and airy Garden Retreat provides luxury self-catering accommodation for two, with the option of adding a delicious cooked breakfast from our lovely menu in the main house (subject to availability).

Enjoy a well-deserved lie-in in the comfy super king-sized bed with luxury cotton bedding, enjoy reading in the cosy chairs upstairs, soak away your day in our spectacular double ended bath that sits in the bedroom itself with views out over the rolling countryside, or saunter down the open stairway to relax in the oak framed sun room that opens directly onto your own private landscaped garden.

A large power shower can be found in the en-suite and fluffy robes are provided for the ultimate relaxing experience. You will find a welcome tray of teas, coffee and freshly home-made cake for your arrival.

The Shepherds Hut (£70 per night)

Two extra guests in your party can stay in our delightful Shepherds hut which is tucked away very close by. It is bright and cosy with country charm, the bed ever so comfy and it is simply a wonderful treat to wake up and look out over the hills and fields and St Michaels Church. There is electric and heating and a toilet available to Shepherds Hut guests but bathroom facilities will be shared with The Garden Retreat.
